School Outing:to Dang Minh Quang Buddhist Institute
Just a short drive from school, Class 5 has a chance to visit Dang Minh Quang Buddhist Institute – located right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city. Our school trips offer great chances for the IGS students to be immersed in the local culture in so many ways; this time we experienced religion and its effect on local people. 
The peaceful atmosphere here makes it an ideal place for everyone to heal and relax from the hustle of the city. We spent a good afternoon visiting the huge golden Buddha statue, learned to practice meditating, played with the penguins and had an amazing view point over the crowded city. 
It was definitely a memorable afternoon to all of us!
