Planting campaign in the U6 section
According to the motto: “Who sows a flower for others – blossoms himself”. The U6 section sowed flower seeds in the gardens. With the idea of doing something for the environment and learning something about plants and insects, the project day on Friday also made an important contribution to the U6 area’s commitment to sustainability.
All the children lent a hand and planted various flowers that will soon attract native insects. With a shovel, hoe and many hands, the soil was dug up and the seeds scattered before they were carefully covered with soil, and finally watered.
Now it is time to wait until small shoots grow out of the soil and the flowers start to bloom and small insects will enjoy the flowers.
