It is important to us that all members of the school community support our school’s philosophy and take part in putting it into practice and developing it further.
Pupils, teachers, and parents can get involved in the following ways:
Form representatives are elected at the beginning of the school year by pupils from grade 2 onwards. The form representatives represent the interests of their form and promote efficient communication within the class community. The form representatives meet at regular intervals in the students’ meeting.
Pupil representatives are elected from among the form representatives at the beginning of the school year. They represent the interests of the pupils and act as a link between the class representatives and the teaching staff.
The liaison teacher is chosen by the class representatives at the beginning of the school year and supports efficient collaboration between form and/or pupils representatives and department heads.
The teachers‘ representative is chosen by teachers and educators at the beginning of the school year and supports efficient communication between teachers / educators and the extended school board.
Parents representatives are chosen at the beginning of the school year by the parents of the individual groups of our U6-sections and our school classes. They support the cooperation between parents and form teachers and/or heads of groups.
The elected parents represent the school parent council, which ensures a close exchange between parents and school and supports the implementation of school projects.
The school council promotes the development of IGS and advises with respect to strategic questions. The school council is composed of internal and external members.
The QM-delegate is responsible for supporting the school’s developmental processes as well as measures to assure the school’s quality.
