Insects – as an alternative food source

In the last few weeks, art & manipulation kept our pupils in middle school busy. Under the heading “Propaganda Art”, they designed posters entitled “Insects –The Last Chance to Solve Global Food Problems”.

As a guest at IGS, Nick Piggott reported on the possibilities offered by insects as an alternative food source. Mr Piggott is the founder of a local company dedicated to researching and breeding insects as a food source. His company cooperates with partners in the local fish and farming industries.
