🕒 New Timetable at IGS – More Time, More Opportunities

Effective from September 3, 2025

Starting in the 2025/26 school year, IGS will implement a new daily schedule: All students will finish their mandatory classes by 3:15 p.m. – one hour earlier than before. This change gives students more time to relax, play, or receive targeted support.

What’s changing?

• Three structured lesson blocks in the morning

• Flexible afternoons: From 3:15 p.m., students can join diverse After School Activities – voluntary and both free or fee-based

• New bus options: Departure at 3:15, 4:15, and 5:15 p.m.

• Weekly school assembly every Friday morning

• Adjusted learning structures across school levels:

  • U6: Longer drop-off and breakfast time, more play and rest

  • Primary: Open Learning Environments move to mid-morning

  • Secondary: Subjects taught in double lessons

  • IB: Longer days remain due to individual subject combinations
