Last week the K7 students were invited to meet with the curator of Galerie Quynh for a private tour of their current exhibition ‘Lachrimae’ from the artist Hoang Duong Cam.
We have recently been discussing gallery layouts and curation as part of our lessons, so we were all very excited to visit a professional gallery together.
We created special notebooks to write down our thoughts and sketch the art on display. Through our discussions with the curator and explorations of the art space we were able to develop a deeper appreciation for the art and the work that goes into preparing a show like this. We are so grateful to Galerie Quynh for welcoming us.
Our trip could not be complete without a group outing to get bubble tea after the show!
