Protection of threatened primates

10 years Pasch have many faces. Today, the students of the ZfA School Thuc Hanh Saigon and the IGS wanted to learn more about the protection of primates in the Dao Tien National Park. The 23 guests and their teachers from grades 4 and 5 were eagerly awaited.

The cultural-volunteer Friederike Teller organized a short campus tour. The students of the IGS quickly got into conversation with the learners of the Vietnamese Pasch School. During the lecture, the students learned about illegal animal trade. Despite the harsh legal consequences for illegal pet trade in Vietnam, animals such as Gibbons continue to be hunted and sold. It is therefore important to raise awareness of species protection. http://www.go-east.org/Pages/daotien.html Afterwards the pupils worked on different topics at different stations.

Primatenschutzprogramm in Vietnam

In addition to a close cooperation in the field of training or the joint execution of workshops and public events, this was already the third visit of Pasch students on the IGS campus in the school year 2017 / 2018. Last but not least, looking back on 10 years Pasch. We are happy about the close cooperation of the local schools.
